Its our 3rd year of providing the platform for the Great British Food Festival. This year the guys have booked 7 venues and we will be providing a number of marquees for all of their events. From Derbyshire, Yorkshire, Shropsire, Lancashire and back to Cheshire over weekends throughout the summer.

The first event took place on Bank Holiday weekend of 3rd to 5th May at Hardwick Hall near Chesterfield. We joined the other businesses setting up on the Thursday before with two huge Clearspan marquees - housing over 80 local producers. We setup the Chef Demo tent and staging for both the bands and the Men Vs Food Challenges (that chilli challange looked truly frightening!).

The weekend was a massive success, with over 15000 people attending. Daniel Maycock, event organiser said, "We would be lost without the help of The White Marquee Co. They always provide fantastic quality marquees, delivered and erected around our timescales - whats more they help us to find solutions to improve and develop our festivals."

We're looking forward to the next one, in just 10 days time. Its at Harewood House, near Leeds. If you are interested in joining hiring a marquee (and fancy a nice day out) then come down and see our marquees in situ... but I would avoid joining in on that Man Vs Food Challenge tho!!
